John Palmer Moving & Storage has a rich history spanning 88 years. In 1928 John Palmer started John Palmer Trucking operating out of a small office and storage area on Bradford Street in West Concord, MA. When John retired in 1971 his brother, Lennie, and his nephew, Craig, former company employees, bought the business. In 1978 Lennie’s other son, Nate, joined the partnership. By 1979 the Palmers built a warehouse at 55 Domino Drive in West Concord, MA. The company incorporated and became John Palmer Moving & Storage, Inc.
In 1980 the company continued to expand. A second warehouse, serving as new headquarters, at 7 Craig Rd, Acton, MA was purchased. In 1981 the Palmers became an agent for American Red Ball Transit Company, winning numerous awards for their long distance service. In 1985 the company left Red Ball to join Atlas Van Lines.
After 45+ years in the moving and storage business, Nate and Craig Palmer decided to retire. On December 30, 2015, John Palmer Moving & Storage, Inc. was sold to Mike Bavuso. Mike acquired the business and real estate at 5-7 Craig Road in Acton, MA and formed Point B Relocation, Inc. The legacy continues as the company still operates as John Palmer Moving & Storage. The team remains intact and provides the same high quality of service that our customers deserve and expect.
